Потенциал современной зарубежной социологии  в исследовании социального страдания

Аннотация

В статье сделан акцент на концептуализации социологии страданий. Зарубежный опыт развития социологии страданий рассматривается в теоретическом и прикладном аспектах. Современные исследователи в понимании социального страдания делают акцент на психологической или антропологической трактовках, но потенциал соответствующей отрасли социологического знания с течением времени наращивается. Между тем научная проблема связана с двумя обстоятельствами, которые отражены в настоящей статье. Во-первых, речь идет о необходимости конкретизировать роль социологии в изучении феномена социального страдания. Нередко преобладающие философская и психологическая трактовки страдания не позволяют этого сделать. В них социальное страдание предстает как экзистенциональное состояние индивидов или феномен их эмоционально-чувственного напряжения и переживания. Однако в социологии страдание нуждается в объективации и рассматривать его только как экзистенцию непродуктивно для соответствующих социологических исследований. Во-вторых, современные исследования социального страдания носят преимущественно междисциплинарный характер и не отражают особой роли в них именно социологии. В статье показано, что зарубежная социология страданий обращает внимание на достаточно широкий круг явлений, с которыми связано возникновение социального страдания. Здесь имеются в виду цивилизационный аспект, ценностно-нормативный, социокультурный и др. Также дается оценка роли качественных и количественных методов в исследовании социального страдания. Качественные методы (например, ивент-анализ, интенциональный анализ и другие) позволяют представить социальное страдание через призму объектно-субъектных отношений. В связи с этим проанализированы некоторые современные исследования социальных страданий, которые позволяют вести речь об активном развитии соответствующей отрасли социологического знания.
