Почему граждане России не доверяют США: анализ данных Всемирного исследования ценностей

Данные опросов общественного мнения в России показывают, что большинство россиян отрицательно относится к США. В этих условиях представляется интересным понять истоки антиамериканских настроений в российском обществе. Цель настоящей статьи состоит в том, чтобы определить факторы, которые объясняют природу антиамериканизма в массовом сознании граждан страны. Источником информации стали данные седьмой волны «Всемирного исследования ценностей». Автор предпринял попытку эмпирической проверки ряда рабочих гипотез, сформулированных на основных положениях теории постматериалистических ценностей Р. Инглхарта, концепции столкновения цивилизаций С. Хантингтона, а также гипотезы козла отпущения и теории относительной депривации и фрустрации. Полученные данные свидетельствуют о том, что, чем больше граждане считают Россию принадлежащей к европейской цивилизации, тем выше у них доверие к США. Статистический анализ демонстрирует, что для тех лиц, кто придерживается точки зрения, что Россия представляет собой самостоятельную/евразийскую цивилизацию, характерно негативное отношение к США. Показано, что антиамериканизм в России не зависит от ценностей, которых придерживаются граждане (традиционных или постматериалистических). Обнаружено, что тезис о том, что граждане, неудовлетворенные своим материальным положением, с большей вероятностью перенесут это недовольство на Вашингтон, не получил эмпирического подтверждения. Важным результатом данного исследования является то, что уровень антиамериканизма у женщин выше, чем у мужчин. В статье подчеркивается, что лица с более высоким уровнем образования менее критично настроены в отношении Соединенных Штатов.
