Abstract

Dear Readers!

Before you is a special issue of the Bulletin of St. Petersburg University. Sociology, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Today, the Union brings together the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Russian Federation (as member states), as well as the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Cuba (as observers).

The EAEU is a dynamically evolving international organization for regional economic integration. It fosters a diverse and complementary economic system within its internal market, grounded in the principle of ensuring the "four freedoms" (the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor). Additionally, it promotes cooperation with other nations and global alliances.
