The significance of the October Revolution of 1917 to China

Abstract

The October Revolution of 1917, which occurred 100 years ago, not only changed the direction of Russian society, but also was an important historical event in the 20th century that changed the fate of the Chinese people. Firstly, the Russian Revolution accelerated the spread of Marxism in China. Before the Revolution, Japan was the main channel of Marxism dissemination mainly by Chinese students in Japan, who were bourgeois reformists or anarchists with a limited understanding of Marxism. After the October Revolution, Russians became the main channel for Marxism spreading into China, and Chinese students studying in Russia became the main force. Under the leadership of East Asian Secretariat of Communist International
Mr Zhang Ximan translated all the Party and Government construction documents of Soviet Union, such as the Constitution of Russian Communist Party and provided reference for the establishment of the Communist Party of China and transformation of the Kuomintang by Sun Yat-Sen’s g. Secondly, the revolution inspired Chinese Marxists to create the Communist Party of China and set up a new China, in the Mao era, we should thank him for making the Chinese people stand up and achieve the first step of the Chinese Dream of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Thirdly, Marx’s theory of leaping over the capitalist Crafting Gorge and Lenin’s thought about the backward transition of the country to socialism provided enlightenment to China’s reform and opening-up, in the time of Deng Xiaoping we should thank him for making the Chinese rich, and realize the second step of Chinese dream of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In the era of Xi Jinping, the Chinese believe that the third step of Chinese dream of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation strong enough will realize, and prove the correctness of the path of October Revolution.
