CONTEMPORARY TRENDS OF RATIONALIZATION OF SEXUALITY: RUSSIAN CONTEXT

The author considers some trends of sexuality rationalization in modern Russia, relying on Max Weber’s definition, according to which rationality is the “sequence of any intellectual and theoretical or practical-ethical position”, using secondary data analysis of sociological and psychological publications Russian researchers. McDonaldization, “liquid” and “communicative” rationalization deserve special attention in his view.
