Abstract

The author considers social control as communication. In line with this approach, specific constructs of social control of deviance are сreated in various discourses. The author examines the constructs as complete systems which include various components. Between constructs that emerged in different discourses, there are certain relationships that can have both positive and negative consequences for society. The article also presents the results of a study in design of social control of deviance in the youth and student discourse. Refs 7.
